+Flamingo Level 3 'Rendering' Workshop

Course Duration:
40 Hours

Tuition $1800 USD

Overview: General principles of rendering as it relates specifically to Rhino and Flamingo. Flamingo brings the features of AccuRender's ray trace and radiosity rendering technology to Rhino. This plug-in includes rendering accurate images with reflections, refraction, diffusion, translucency, transparency, shadows, depth of field, depth attenuation, clear finish™, and indirect lighting. This course can also be adminstered with various other Rhino plug in utilities such as Vray, and Maxwell. Ask to speak to your instructor before coming to the class.

Other features
Procedural clouds, fractal-generated 3-D plants, procedural 2-D and 3-D materials, progressive-refinement for quick preview, and extensive material, plant, and background libraries.

Prerequisite:
Industrial Design Degree, Art Degree or CAD experience helpful but not necessary.

Topics:

  • Avoid numerous beginner mistakes & focus on high level rendering.
  • Displacement, Procedural, etc.
  • User Defined materials.

Discussions:

  • Rendering realistic glass with tips and tricks for procedural renderings.
  • What it takes to create a realistic rendering. Thru lighting techniques and materials and decals.
